In which they're drunk.

She was drunk.
Being drunk in New Jersey was a bad idea, and she should have known that. She wasn't even sure why she was in New Jersey anymore. She was fairly certain she had a reason when she got there, but now she couldn't remember it. Now there was just the warm, fuzzy feeling of alcohol, and she just wished that her head had the warm fuzzy feelings to match. It didn't. It was just emptiness and anger and sadness because she knew the situation with Aaron was her fault. She could be happy and warm and fuzzy right now if she could just learn how to keep her mouth shut. A shrink would call it self-sabotaging. She just considered it her being stupid.
She had been staring at the phone in front of her for the past hour, fighting her inner desire to just pick up the phone and see if she would either be finding the warm and fuzzy feelings, or making a total ass out of herself. She knew what she had with Aaron wasn't healthy. She knew that better than she cared to admit, but it was what she wanted more than anything right then. She just wanted to feel good. She wanted to know since when was that too much to ask.
She picked up the phone and pulled up his number, before pressing the phone to her ear, humming slightly to herself as she waited for him to answer.
